1. Contact us about our next certification program; Because our Certification process is rigorous and requires the highest level of proficiency, our Certification has greater value, adds prestige to your business and added value to your dog training services.
   
   You have an opportunity to work with Matthew Margolis and senior training staff members who will help you polish the techniques you have learned and correct any problem areas. Making sure you execute training properly and correcting any problems you may have are important to your future success.
   
2. You have a unique opportunity to perfect your love, praise and affection methods for the benefit of the dogs you will train and their owners.
   
   You will also establish a one-on-one relationship with Margolis Enterprises, Inc. and members of the staff who will be helping you in the future.
   
   The program will help you become better prepared to launch or improve your business marketing techniques.

1. You must be the person who's name is on record as a BUSINESS of Dog Training student.

2. You must have successfully trained 20 dogs after completing the home study program and provide us with a list of those clients and signed affidavits (statements) from ten of those clients verifying that you successfully trained their dogs.

3. You must also provide a home video (vhs) demonstrating your work with at least two of the dogs. The video should show two trained dogs. You should work dogs separately on a leash for ten minutes each demonstrating all the commands from Sit through Come When Called. The video should also include your temperament testing of an untrained dog and your diagnosis as well as five minutes showing you working with this dog on the command Sit. The tape must include both a printed and verbal label with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address and be between 30 and 60 minutes in length. Tape should be submitted a minimum of four weeks prior to the certification program or by a pre-arranged date.

4. You must have completed both parts of The BUSINESS of Dog Training - the program in its entirety -- and feel confident that you understand all phases of the program completely, without exception.

5. You must attend all sessions of the Two-and-a Half Day Certification Program conducted by Margolis Enterprises, Inc. in Los Angeles, at the location convenient to LAX.

6. Participants must successfully complete the written and workshop portions of the Certification exam conducted at the conclusion of the Certification Program.

7. To pass the Certification exam, you must complete the written portion with a grade of not less than 80%. You must demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of TRAINING and will be required to work with dogs during a series of exercises. Should you for any reason, not be able to satisfactorily complete the Certification process, you will be entitled to attend another program at no additional cost, except for your hotel and transportation expenses.

8. Certification is optional and requires a $495 fee payable in advance.

9. You must provide for your own transportation and hotel or other accommodations. Our students receive a special rate at the Hacienda Hotel near Los Angeles International Airport where we conduct the program.

1. BUSINESS Manual Review & Test Preparation
   
   The business plan, your vision, situation analysis, marketing strategy, creating/perfecting your slogan, basic advertising and promotion strategy, sales and the personal selling workshop.
   
   
2. TRAINING Manual Review & Test Preparation
   
   Canine history, breeds, hierarchy, temperaments and testing, aggression, problem solving, equipment, commands.
   
   
3. HANDS ON Working With Dogs
   
   Senior members of our training staff with work with you, in hands-on session with dogs, to check techniques and correct problems.
   
   
4. The TEST
   
   There are written exams and working with dogs exams.
   
   
5. CERTIFICATION Ceremony
   
   With presentation of Certificates and photo session.

The next certification program will be scheduled for 2006 in Los Angeles.  A minimum number of students must be registered for certification. If you plan on being certified in 2006, please let us know by e-mail or phone.

If you are currently a BUSINESS of Dog Training student and plan on Certification: Please plan ahead and register for participation as soon as possible. A minimum number must attend, however, program attendance is limited in order to give each student maximum attention.
