Fifty percent of the hundreds of e-mails, letters and phone calls received by Uncle Matty each week are about aggressive dog problems. Why has this become a worldwide epidemic? Why do nearly 800,000 people in the United States alone, have to seek medical attention for dog bites each year, half of them children? Why are so many homeowners and renters losing their liability insurance because they own a dog?

If you own a dog, this area of The Training Center hopes to provide you with some insight and answer some of your questions about aggressive dog behavior. If nothing else, Uncle Matty hopes this information will help you recognize the signs of aggression, understand the types of aggression, know how to test for aggressive behavior, understand the consequences of not dealing with aggressive behavior and gain insight that will help you make the right decisions.
