The United Kennel Club is anticipating spectators from across the country will take advantage of the offer of free admission to watch the country's best Toy Fox Terriers compete for the prestigious National Best of Breed title during this year's National Toy Fox Terrier Specialty Dog Show taking place on August 19th in Claremont, CA.

A statue honoring the dog that accompanied members of the Lewis and Clark expedition two centuries ago, was erected in Bismarck, North Dakota. Members of the Newfoundland Club from several states attended.


June 14, 2006
Arizona Governor, Janet Napolitano, signed into law a bill that makes bestiality a crime in the State. Ninety days after the current legislative session bestiality will be a felony.

In case you haven't heard, pets have their own luxury Couture for clothing and accessories. Thanks to Hollywood celebrities and their own "accessory" dogs, designer, Oscar Newman, has a notable clientelle that woof their thanks; among them, Jennifer Garner's dog, Martha Stewart and Tori Spelling's notorious pug, Mimi LaRue.
